| Dearest Nick, I am 27 and I've recently gone through the same ordeal that you are going through, so I am very familiar with all the details related to this disease and its treatments. Like you, I have abandoned the classical methods (radiotherapy and stuff) for the natural approaches. I don't regret my decision and so far, so good. I just wanted to share with you this article that I have found during my searches over the Internet: http://www.alternative-cancer-care.com/The_Cancer_Personality.html So far, it is the most accurate description of everything that has happened to me until the moment I was given the news. It can't be a just coincidence, because those facts are part of my experience. Maybe you have already read that article or others alike. I just meant it as an incentive for all those persons out here that suffer from cancer and are not sure about their choices, though it is not my intention to influence any of them. We have to make our own choices, take the risks and see what comes out of it. Personally, I think you have made the right choice, although this type of alternative doesn't work for everyone and I think it takes a special kind of personality and life experience for this choice of prove successful. Other people are better cured with the classical approaches because it is simply what they believe in. In my case, radiotherapy has cost me my fertility, a lot of secondary problems and my self esteem and it didn't cure my cancer. But I trust God and my own power of healing and understanding and I hope that all is not lost. The same must happen in your case, as well. You have all my support and understanding. My advice would be to combine your treatment with other unharmful natural methods, in order to enhance the effects and speed up the healing process. I wish you all the best, my dear, for I am sure you are already one of the survivors. :) |
